About the Artist

I’ve been a maker for as long as I can remember-curious, playful, always exploring the world around me. Today I’m an impressionist and abstract painter working from my studio in Vero Beach, Florida. My award winning work, collected nationally and internationally, is colored by the rhythms of nature and guided by the formal principals of art making. I hold a BFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Long Beach.

Before devoting myself fully to painting, I spent many years as a critical care nurse. That experience taught me how to hold space for others in their most vulnerable moments, how to listen deeply, not just with my ears, but with my full presence. That same quiet attention and care shapes my art making.

Nature is where I feel most connected to myself, where thoughts and inspiration flow with ease and clarity. My work reflects this connection through the marks, colors, textures and shapes I choose. I use these elements to tell a story and convey the emotion of each piece.

I continue to grow through workshops, collaborations and time spent observing the natural world. For me, art-making is an exploration – each painting reveals new insights and unexpected discoveries. My process is fluid, shaped by adding in and taking away, until the message comes through.
