Weight of the Bloom

I love hydrangeas. They are large in size, and heavy with the water that sustains them. Bold in their presentation, yet so delicate and fragile the petals that make the bouquet. I love the soft yellow and peach in this painting, using Indian Yellow mixed with white and red.
